🏆 WHY VA RAPTORS?
Basketball has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. From playing at the collegiate level to founding the VA Raptors in 2026, the game has taught me discipline, leadership, and perseverance.
My mission is to help young athletes develop their skills, build confidence, and grow both on and off the court.
At VA Raptors, we're more than a team — we're a family committed to hard work, respect, and achieving greatness together.

CHAMPIONSHIP RINGS
🌟 SPOTLIGHT
Championship MVPs — earned on both ends of the floor.
Xzavier Shorts was incredible in our first tournament win, doing everything for our team that was needed as well as bringing his teammates up
King Ayala was a major help being a true point guard running the offense and playing defense
Moni Ward took his game to the next level this tournament and showed why he can be a top dual athlete at his age. Showing speed stealing the ball and going coast to coast for lay ups, to shooting threes he can do it all
Xzavier Shorts was a big help in the win helping Moni with the steals and getting to the paint drawing fouls knocking down two threes in clutch time
Moni Ward was a animal two weeks in a row almost recording a triple double this guy does it all for the Raptors you name it he'll do it, incredible talent at his age getting his team involved and being a very coach able young man
Xzavier Shorts starting off slow this tournament he came back and helped his team secure a win his 12 points came from all over the floor and his aggressiveness on defense rewarded him 3 steals, having two and 1's in the beginning of the game to set the tempo
Dominic Danzig had a break out game in this tournament scoring at all three levels totaling 15 points in one game. Him being the youngest on the team doesn't stop his drive and competitiveness. He helped scoring big back to back buckets in the championship game.
Deion Harvey has shown tremendous talent and growth first season ever playing basketball he helped us secure another championship his hustle and drive to win almost bringing in a double double; he was the fire starter for us getting a quick 4 points off free throws and continued to dominate on the glass
Ariah Williams co-mvp has really transformed into a lethal shooter, and when we needed big 3's she took it upon herself to knock down 3 threes to change the gym outcome, then a pest on defense adding 4 steals.
Tournament mvp King Ayala was controlling the offense all weekend making dynamic plays getting his team involved and when he had to step up he did big vs a very good team in Team Klutch. He couldn't miss and was a menace on defense he kept it up all weekend having consistent play that is why he is MVP of tournament
